The cooperative education agreements signed between vocational colleges in China and Indonesia include a total of 10 majors, covering 6 categories such as manufacturing, information, civil engineering, animal husbandry, finance and economics, and energy. The cooperative education mode is "1+1+1", that is, students study in Indonesia for one year, study in China for one year and practice in enterprises for one year. Relying on the cooperative education program, colleges and universities of both countries will jointly build majors and courses and share resources to promote mutual recognition of credits and academic qualifications.

It is reported that the China-Indonesian TVET Industry-Education Alliance was initiated and established by Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College (LVTC), LiuGong Machinery Indonesia Co., Ltd., and Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya. At present, the Alliance has a total of 128 members, including 61 vocational colleges in China, 49 public polytechnic institutes and community colleges in Indonesia, 18 Chinese enterprises with business in Indonesia and local enterprises in Indonesia. The Alliance aims to build a platform for pragmatic cooperation in TVET between China and Indonesia, so as to cultivate high-level international technical talents for enterprises. The establishment of the Alliance was supported by the government departments of both countries. China Education Association for International Exchange was incorporated into the framework management of the China-ASEAN Vocational Education Federation, and the Indonesian government organized all public polytechnic institutes and community colleges in its country to join the Alliance, providing strong support for the Alliance to carry out coordinated cooperation.
