(Text/photos by Zhang Jinyezi, Office of International Exchange) From February 22 to 23, the 2022 Cooperation Forum for Sino-UK Vocational Education hosted by the Department for International Trade (DIT) of the UK was held both online and offline.

The guests included representatives from more than 10 UK high-quality vocational education colleges and institutions, including Pearson Education Group, University of Edinburgh, King's College London, and University of Cumbria, as well as representatives from more than 10 Chinese units. There are only three Chinese universities invited to give speeches this time. As one of them, Wei Linhua, Director of the Office of International Exchange, attended the forum and made a speech on behalf of Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College (LVTC).

In his speech titled "Exploration on the Introduction of International Vocational Education Standards", he shared LVTC's practices in the implementation of the introduction of international vocational education standards, and introduced the mode and harvest of introducing UK's modern apprenticeship talent cultivation by taking the logistics major as an example, so that the participants at home and abroad can understand the development of vocational education in Liuzhou and the achievements of LVTC's internationalization.

This speech fully reflects the advantages of LVTC's international cooperation, which helps enhance LVTC's overseas influence, expand international cooperation channels, and build a communication and cooperation platform with the UK in the field of vocational education.
