Set Sail and Ride the Waves! LVTC hosts the commencement for the 2021 graduates

On the morning of June 27, 2021, a grand farewell ceremony was held on the 4th floor of the gymnasium of LVTC Shewan Campus - the commencement of the 2021 graduates, in which more than 4,000 graduates of the 2021 graduates will step into a new stage of their lives.

Because of the pandemic control and prevention, only 710 representatives of this year's graduates were able to attend the graduation ceremony. The commencement was livestreamed for those graduates who could not be present, family and friends of graduates, and the number of viewers exceeded 1.3 million on that day.

After taking temperature, the graduate representatives walked down the red carpet and entered the graduation ceremony site on the 4^th floor of the gymnasium before the due time. Leaders of LVTC Liu Zilin, Gan Jinming, Yang Xu, Wang Wei and Wei Lin, leaders of college party branches and departments, secondary colleges and property companies, heads of teaching teams and majors, representatives of teachers, directors of student affair offices, secretaries of Youth League committees, student special officers and all counselors of graduation classes came to the ceremony to accompany the 2021 graduates in this important moment. Vice President Wei Lin presided over the commencement.

First of all, Mr. Liu Tao from the School of Arts and the flute team and reception team of LVTC Student Art Troupe presented the warm-up performance "Setting Sail Again on the Centenary", which was dedicated to the centenary of the Communist Party of China. Then the teachers and students sang "Sing a Song for Chinese Communist Party" together with the chorus team of LVTC Student Art Troupe, igniting the enthusiasm of the audience at the ceremony. Then, the graduation ceremony was officially opened with the national anthem.

LVTC's graduation gift for the 2021 Graduates, a beautiful commemorative alumni badge, will be presented to the students by their own counselors. And at the graduation ceremony, LVTC prepared another gift for the graduates: the commemorative microfilm "The Maker", specially cast by the college for the 2021 Graduates. The premiere of the microfilm was held on the scene, and all the graduates recalled the unforgettable three years of good time they spent in LVTC.

On behalf of teachers, Mr. Gan Daxi, the 2021 Liuzhou Excellent Communist Party Member and the head of national Skill Master Studio and the teacher of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, delivered a speech to the graduates, hoping that the graduates can embark on a new journey, write a new chapter of life, and be self-disciplined, self-reliant and self-improving whenever they are after bidding farewell to the college.

Then, representatives of teachers, counselors, dormitory managers, canteen staff, cleaning staff and security guards came on stage to receive the most sincere thanks and blessings from the representatives of the 2021 graduates.

After that, Jiang Yuanbo, the 2021 LVTC Excellent Graduate, Excellent Graduate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, winner of the National Scholarship and Liuzhou Excellent Student Official, the student of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Marxist youth training project who is from 2018 Class 1 of International Economics and Trade under the School of Trade and Tourism Management, delivered a speech on behalf of graduates, reviewing her life in LVTC and saying that she would always remember that she is a member of LVTC and keep the school motto of "high ambition, diligent learning, strong ability and excellent skills" in mind when stepping into the society and a new life.

Li Jihan, a member of second prize winner team of the 2020 National Finals in the 6th China International College Students "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, a Liuzhou "Three Good Students", the student of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Marxist youth training project, who is from 2019 Class 2 of Industrial Robotics Technology under School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, expressed his heartfelt wishes for these graduates on behalf of the students still in the college and thanked them for their care and help, and said that he would be as serious and hardworking as the graduates, and contribute his youth and strength to the development and progress of LVTC with his efforts.

At the ceremony, Liu Zilin, Secretary of the Party Committee of LVTC, awarded certificates to 40 students who won the honor of 2021 Excellent Graduate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of LVTC Yang Xu read the decision to approve the graduation of the 2021 Class.

President Gan Jinming, on behalf of the college, made a farewell speech with the theme of "Keep Ambition High, Study Hard and Create a Bright Future". In his keynote speech, he sent congratulations and blessings to the 2021 Graduates who will step into the society, and expressed his ardent wishes for the graduates: to inherit the red spirit and be a LVTC alumni with ambitious ideals; to build dreams and be a LVTC alumni with excellent skills; to be down-to-earth and be a LVTC alumni who strives for excellence; to be optimistic and open-minded and be a LVTC alumni with strong will. Gan Jinming said fondly to the graduating students, "Once you say goodbye today, you will ride the wind and waves and start your own journey. But no matter how far you go, LVTC will always be your home and back, and will always pay attention to your growth. LVTC will always welcome you come back home for a visit. I hope you will love LVTC and keep the whole world in mind all the time. "

After the speech, President Gan Jinming presented graduation diplomas to the graduates and took a group photo with them.

The graduation ceremony ended with slow music. But the graduates were reluctant to leave for a long time. They either took pictures with their teachers or classmates, or hugged each other to say goodbye and send blessings to each other ...

The story begins with the opening ceremony in late summer 2018 and ends with the graduation ceremony in the height of summer 2021. A group photo and a graduation diploma draw a perfect end to the graduates' youth and mark the new chapter of their lives. Youth does not say goodbye, and craftsmanship forges the future.
